Citizenship Washington Focus Opportunity –
Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is a 4-H leadership program for high school youth from across the United States. Every summer, thousands of young people come to the National 4-H Youth Conference Center to participate in a unique, weeklong leadership program for youth ages 14 to 19. West Virginia will be attending July 1st to July 7th, 2012.
The program includes:- Motivational speakers, special workshops, and assemblies that develop leadership skills,
- Activities that promote experiential learning and lasting friendships,
- A special look at the inner-workings of our nation’s capital, along with a chance to meet congressional leaders.
- Broaden appreciation and practice respect for themselves and others in their world.
Understand the importance of civic and social responsibilities as they relate to the development of better citizens and leaders.
Participants in Citizenship Washington Focus will have unique, exciting experiences that will lead to becoming “Better Citizens Today; Better Leaders Tomorrow.”

WVU Extension Service provides programs in 4-H Youth Development, , Agriculture & Natural Resources, with support from West Virginia University faculty and staff. The Extension Service also maintains a historic special-mission campus at WVU Jackson’s Mill State 4-H Camp in Weston, West Virginia.
